HISTORY S. B. Hoover and Company, L.L.P. is a Certified Public Accounting Firm, located in Harrisonburg, VA, serving clients throughout Virginia and the surrounding states. The Firm was founded in 1921 and has evolved through several organizational changes to become a limited liability partnership in 1994. PERSONNEL Our personnel are highly educated and experienced professionals who are devoted to serving our clients. A high percentage of our professional staff are CPA's, many of whom have advanced degrees. The Firm also employs paraprofessionals to provide economical accounting services. ENGAGEMENT APPROACH

Each engagement is carefully planned with our clients and we dedicate all the resources of the Firm that are necessary to meet our clients' expectations. To that end, we stress both individual responsibility and a team approach. You will be assigned an engagement partner and manager who will be responsible for coordinating the accounting, tax and advisory services provided. When appropriate, they will draw upon the specialized skills of other firm members and consult on important issues. We have established a quality control program to assure that we are providing services in accordance with the highest professional standards. Our Firm is a member of both the Private Companies Practice and the SEC Practice Sections of the Division for CPA Firms of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

As a member, the Firm has successfully completed five independent peer reviews of our accounting and auditing practice. During these independent assessments, the reviewers inspected our quality control policies and procedures, working papers, and reports on our accounting and auditing engagements. The reviewers concluded that the Firm complies with the quality control standards set by the AICPA.

Hoover, who has a law degree from the University of Virginia. The presence of an attorney on staff helps the Firm coordinate the financial and legal aspects of business decisions, particularly in the areas of estate and income tax planning.
